Crosspointe Music Group is proud to annouce the addition of Leanette Lopez to it's roster of artist. Leanette's drive and strong desire to reach people for God has allowed her to touch and see many lives changed through her music. Leanette's focus is on how to change circumstances or situations, through God's Word. She has blessed many by ministering in churches, youth rallies, and concerts.

In all her years of ministering, Leanette witnessed many people struggling, lost and hurting. Although the situations greatly varied, she recognized that the Lord is faithful in every situation. Through His power, she saw lives changed and the lost, found. These experiences are what inspired Leanette to write and record songs for her first and second CD. Her third, "Through My Eyes," was released on Saturday, May 15, 2004 at her release concert at Family Christian Center in Defiance, Ohio.

"Through My Eyes" has all originals written by Leanette that include worshipful songs, songs of celebration and songs that tell a story. There are talented musicians & singers on the CD that have played for major recording artists, Christian and secular such as Nora Jones, Sandi Patti, John Mellancamp, Gaithers, Stacy Orrico, Backstreet Boys and more.

Dorchester and Talbot County, Maryland have declared August 22-29th, 2004 as Gospel Music Week on the Eastern Shore. Churches all across the Eastern Shore of Maryland are preparing for this great week of celebrating the heritage that Gospel Music has played in their churches and communities. The week will culminate with two great events on August 28 & 29, 2004.
